The Reptile Room

This book is the second in the famous series of A Series of Unfortunate Events

Its about the Baudilair orphans whose parents were killed in an 'accidental' fire. They are being pursued of an evil man who tried to steal the Baudilair's fortune.

I've seen the movie and it doesn't stick to the books...

DON'T WATCH THE MOVIE!IT'S OFFICIAL THE BOOKS ARE BETTER!

The End

This is the last book of the series and it was a great finish. Before reading this book I would read a couple of the earlier books in the series to help you understand the story more.

The 3 Baudelaire children and Count Olaf become stranded on an island, they find themselves in an unusual situation. Secrets go round the island, not so much dark secrets but more shocking secrets. They meet several islanders and they have a custom to wear white clothes and they get rid of almost anything unless it is a human or something usual. Ishmael is the facilitator on the island, he is hiding something and Count Olaf is on the island to which doesn't help things. On the island is a coastal shelf and it floods once a year. Will the Baudelaires have time to make their point before they are asked to leave the island? Will they discover who their parents are?

Lemony Snicket is a great author because his way of writing is so different from anything I've read before. I would say it was for the ages 11-15 and I would give it 9.8 out of 10!
